VoIP
Market
As
mentioned above, Wiztel has offerings in the following areas:
. LD Wholesale
. Calling Card Distribution
. VoIP Hardware Resale (i.e. VoIP Phones, adapters, etc.)
. Commercial/Residential End User Voices Services
Voice
over Internet Protocol (VoIP) utilizes IP architecture to provide
voice services equivalent to traditional telecommunications providers
that use the
Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). The main benefit to VoIP
is that
a VoIP long distance call traverses the low-cost world-wide Internet
infrastructure for the long-haul portion of the call, rather than
having to
pay high rates established by incumbent international carriers.
This allows Wiztel to offer extremely competitive international
calling routes.
